Developing and promoting spiritual growth of our youth is an important part of our church. The Youth Team takes very seriously our role as mentors and leaders with our youth.

There are many opportunities for youth to get plugged in at Providence.

Sunday School

There is a Sunday School classroom for every age group that meets at 9:15 a.m. These classes are located on the basement level at Providence. Youth can gain a better understanding of the Bible and receive discipleship training.

Worship on Wednesday (WoW)

WOW is a worship and bible study session for youth on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. The service provides an opportunity for youth to experience Christ through praise music and Bible lessons that are focused on helping them during their middle and high school years.

STEPZ

This is a new youth ministry for 11th and 12th graders. The program holds an event monthly and meets the first Wednesday of each month during WoW. The program allows this age group to be equipped to step up to the next phase of life, and to be encouraged to stay involved in church.

Ministries

The youth group provides several ministry opportunities and activities. Information about Youth Choir can be found on the Music Ministry section of the worship page. Expressions is the youth group's creative dance program.

Providence Youth On Mission(PYOM) is the missions arm of the youth group. Throughout the year, PYOM participates in outreach ministries like caroling and goody bag giveaways to our community's homebound.
